My name is Mike Johnson owner of Oconomowoc Plumbing. Plumbing is more than just a business for me, it’s a passion, it’s an addiction.
Here you will find articles, tutorials, and just about anything plumbing related. This website is more than just marketing for the plumbing company; it’s a place where I can write passionately about plumbing and use it as a conduit to help my customers. If you want to learn about plumbing systems, plumbing repair, plumbing history, or just funny stories about the service calls I go on, this is the place.
Writing on this blog is much more than just my plumbing addiction. I enjoy helping people and I’m just as passionate about helping others with plumbing as I am with plumbing itself. During the day I make my living plumbing of course but in the evening this blog is where the action is. This website is not just for customers only, if you’re a DIY (do it yourself) home owner or simply can’t afford to call a plumber, or even if your daring enough to try your first plumbing project on your own then jump aboard because this website is for you also. A little bit about me
I’m a Master plumber and have lived in the lake country area most of my life. According to my parents I’ve been taking things apart and discovering how stuff works since I was about three. I guess in many ways that never stopped, besides plumbing I enjoy most things mechanical.
In my plumbing career I’ve experienced some amazing projects. Besides plumbing hundreds of residential homes I’ve either plumbed or have been a foreman leading plumbing projects such as hospitals, kidney dialysis centers, clinics, breweries, food processing plants, schools, high rises, restaurants, commercial site work, and a whole host of other projects. My favorite, my absolute favorite type of plumbing however is residential.
